This talk describes an approach of using university teaching, mentoring, and project management as tools to create a culture of innovation. This talk reviews a 10 year route from Research Assistant at CMU to technology development and a consulting business. The unusual path starts with intentional return to Bangladesh, collaboration with US projects that has continued and grown in sophistication and size. The talk includes examples of the people, approaches, and examples that punctuate the path.
